Refunds

Refund policy

When you can have your money back, how to ask, and what happens to your access afterwards.

This policy is an unfinished draft.

It has not been completed or reviewed, and must not be relied on. Nothing is on sale while it says so.

The short version

If you are unhappy within 14 days of paying — whether that was your first payment or the most recent renewal — ask us and you get your money back. You do not have to give a reason.

How to ask

Subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued by it. You can either:

  • use the link on the receipt emailed to you when you paid, which goes to its buyer portal; or
  • email myworldsart@gmail.com and we will arrange it. Tell us the email address on the account so we can find the payment.

Money normally reaches your card or account within five to ten working days once the refund is issued, which is your bank’s timing rather than ours.

Cancelling and refunding are different

  • Cancelling stops future payments and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is returned, because you keep what you bought.
  • A refund returns the payment and ends your access immediately, including the rest of that period, because the payment for it has been given back.

If you simply do not want to continue, cancelling is usually what you want: you keep the time you paid for.

Outside the 14 days

After 14 days a monthly payment is not normally refunded, and part-months are not refunded — cancel instead, and you keep access until the period ends. At $10 a month, the most you can be out of pocket is one month.

We will still refund outside that window, at our discretion, when it is the fair answer — for example if:

  • you were charged twice, or charged after cancelling;
  • you could not use the service because of a fault on our side for a sustained period;
  • somebody paid using your account without your permission.

Ask. We would rather sort it out than have you feel cheated.

Early access is not a fault

MyWorldsArt projects are work in progress, and the subscription says so plainly before you pay. A project being unfinished, changing, or not yet including something on the roadmap is not by itself a fault — though it is exactly the kind of thing the 14-day window is for, so try it early and decide.

Before you call your bank

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback ends your access straight away and costs us a fee on top of the refund, and almost everything people raise them for is something we would simply have refunded if asked.

Your legal rights

This policy sits on top of the rights you have by law as a consumer, including any statutory right to cancel a distance purchase. It does not replace them, and nothing here takes them away.
